 Spirituality vs, worldly power issues may appear – or are they one and the same?
 Events echo those set in motion at the end of July
 Why does the word ‘evolve’ contain the word ‘love’?

Another busy month for us all and one where we may see issues around spirituality, meaning and the deep side of life contrast with those of power, rule and domination thanks to four planets lining up in Scorpio and a heavy emphasis between individualistic Aries and partnership centered Libra. We’re all being asked to maintain a balance and this may not always be easy especially around the 3rd when unpredictable Uranus in Aries opposes the Sun in Libra. The feeling you’re walking on eggshells or a tightrope may not be too far from the truth. However, balance may be found at the time of the new Moon in Libra. If not however, we could all be setting ourselves up for more problems later in the month. The new Moon falls conjunct the Sun brining us yet another Cardinal Grand Cross. Events that are manifesting now could have their roots back in the Grand Soul Alignment in July or the second Star of David in August.

The 6th sees four planets in powerful Scorpio – the Moon now in its waxing phase, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. Venus enters Sagittarius the following day – the sign of adventure and higher learning. This learning does not just encompass institutions such as high schools and universities, but includes spiritual and soul exploration and this is what Venus in this sign is all about. Some of us will embark on the great adventure – love, while Venus is in residence here. It’s all about the freedom to love in a way that teaches and expands us on a soul level.

Mars enters Virgo on the 15th asking us to take affirmative action when it comes to health and our responsibilities – especially to the Earth and our environment and we could see events occur which call upon us to do this. We’ve got a three planet stellium in Pisces on this day – the Moon, Neptune and Chiron forming part of a double T-square and opposing that Mars in Virgo. Mercury and Saturn are conjunct in Scorpio the following day and form part of a Grand Water Trine which includes the Moon in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer. Clean up your internal environment if nothing else but it may be all too apparent where the real clean-up needs to take place perhaps on an international or planetary scale. (Start small and work up to the big stuff!).

The full Moon in Aries and a lunar eclipse which will be visible from most parts of the world on the 16th will show us what we failed to attend to back at the time of the new Moon. Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio from the 21st and between the 21st and 22nd we’ll see the Orionids meteors appear. The Sun moves into Scorpio on the 23rd – bumping the number of planets in there back to three – Sun, Mercury and of course, Saturn. Expect those worldly power issues to re-appear but understand that anything that takes place on the physical earthly plane is actually a spiritual lesson being given to us through a human experience. It is all one and the same. The Sun in Scorpio trineing the Moon in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces brings a different flavour to the next Grand Water Trine which forms on the 24th along with an incredible double Kite aspect. Two of the water signs have their rulers in residence (Cancer and Pisces), plus Scorpio’s two rulers – Mars and Pluto are sitting in earth signs. Again, we may see power and control issues surface around the environment and resources as well as abuses of this. However, this double Kite contains enormous potential for us to ascend limitations and is asking us to consider why the word ‘evolve’ contains the word ‘love’? Light from the Sun and all the stars is nothing but love turned into energy. It fuels the cosmos and also our lives. When we choose to act out of love we evolve. Be your own Sun this month and light up your world.
