So just what is the mysterious object on Google Moon? Is it an extraterrestrial spacecraft or just an intern at Google having a laugh at the conspiracy theorists expense? While this opening may seem like a non sequitur there is more going on than meets the eye in the sky at the moment and planets lining up in mysterious Pisces point us all in the direction of the unknowable – the things we may have to take on faith and which may not be able to be proven but nonetheless exist. This month may well see themes emerging which recognise there are not only many dimensions to what we understand as ‘reality’ but also which acknowledge other ways of being/thinking/acting/creating and in doing so encompass an understanding that other beings we share the planet with need to be accorded more empathic rights as well. The month begins with four planets in Pisces and of course, the Sun enters here on the 18th. In the interim the Sun squares off Saturn in Scorpio from Aquarius promising some disruption of the old order as the new attempts to assert itself on the 2nd and our relationships could be due for a re-think on the 4th when the Moon in Aries trines the Sun in Aquarius but opposes Aries ruler Mars in the partnership sign of Libra. If there is imbalance as in one person trying to have their own way – or one ideology for that matter – then expect conflicts to follow.

Mercury performs his thrice-yearly retrograde motion in Pisces from the 6th, and will head back into Aquarius during this period asking us to go back over our thinking and understand that while we need individual action living is a collaborative venture and no-one is an island. You may see more discussion on the UK leaving the EU during this time. Those ideas I mentioned earlier are now emerging from the collective as we see in the Cradle aspect which appears on the same day with a Grand Air Trine on the 9th circulating these ideas and some of these may re-emerge thanks to retrograde Mercury arriving back in Aquarius on the 13th.

The full Moon in Leo on the 14th (complete with alien spacecraft/secret UFO base notwithstanding) also makes a sextile to Mars in Libra. What we may see happening now is what happens when people act for themselves rather than for selfless reasons – again perhaps failing to see the lesson of living as a collaborative venture. Wanting to shine at whatever it is we are here to do is one thing and something we should all aspire to. Grabbing the spotlight just for ourselves and not allowing others there time in it is something else entirely. We may see some examples of this – or celebrities behaving badly – that emerge around now that make Shia LaBeouf look like a modest and uniquely talented auteur by comparison. Do you seek the limelight because you want to share your gifts? To share is to shine no matter what production we are starring in.

The Sun arrives in Pisces hopefully linking us to a more universal way of thinking, being and doing from the 18th – the same day as the Moon in Libra provides us with the latest Cardinal Grand Cross and when the Moon meets Mars in here the following day we may see minor irritations boil over and molehills turn into mountains. The key to avoid this is to be as universal as we possibly can be in our thinking – a sentiment echoed by the Grand Water Trine of the 20th where the Sun starts to fall conjunct Neptune in Pisces and reinforced by the Moon in Sagittarius forming a beautiful aspect to Mars on the 24th that could potentially defuse situations unless we fall back into the trap of acting impulsively.

A collective sigh of relief takes place when Mercury moves direct in Aquarius on the last day of the month.
