Once again a Cardinal Grand Cross appears and asks us for balance and perspective this week which may be hard to maintain if we are faced with the unexpected but those times are when we need to remain the most balanced and in control of our responses. With the Moon in her ruling sign of Libra there’s the possibility of being overwhelmed by our emotions or else just feeling we are not able to control things. When it comes to others the answer is of course that we can’t. We can control how we respond however. Maintaining equilibrium may be the test this week asks of us.
Venus now direct moves back into Virgo this week reminding us that love does not have to be showy or expansive to be real. It can be in the small things, the details and above all, the love that does not need constant reassurance – we just know it’s there for us. Mercury finally heads direct in the partnership sign of Libra – smart astro types will have noticed that Venus who rules Libra is in Virgo while Mercury who rules Virgo is in Libra. So, we say these two are in mutual reception to one another. This is more than being able to talk about love, this is grounded love that’s very real if we just let go of the fairy-tale glitter we’ve been led to believe love is, and bring the real thing back down to earth.
