11th – Cardinal T-square (exact) – Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, Mercury in Cancer
11th – Mutable T-square (exact) – Sun in Gemini, Moon in Pisces, Mars in Virgo
12th – Jupiter enters Gemini
We start the week with not one but two T-squares in the sky. One in Cardinal signs Capricorn, Aries and Cancer formed by Pluto, Uranus and Mercury. The other T-square is in Mutable Gemini, Pisces and Virgo created by the Sun, Moon and Mars. Both T-squares are exact on these days meaning they will exert their most powerful influence.
A T-square is formed when two planets are in an opposition and both form a square to a third planet. Traditionally, these kinds of aspects were considered to be difficult if not negative when they appeared. But through observation, today’s contemporary astrologers understand that T-squares appear for growth purposes. If life were just one constant rose-strewn path we would never evolve either as human beings or as vibrant souls.
Both these T-squares are delivering a similar message in that the key to releasing any tension you experience from their influence lies in summoning up solutions to problems that involve tradition, structure and insight all working together. Perhaps we’re all being put in touch with ancient wisdom this week and these aspects allow us to tap into this on a creative level.
On the 12th, Jupiter planet of expansion, adventure and luck enters Gemini the sign of the transport, transmutation and communication. All signs get ready for 12 months which could bring in a trip of a lifetime in some way – or perhaps just a new car. We’re all going to be making more connections than usual. Expect planes, trains and automobiles to feature and success in anything that involves travel and communication.
