Balance, harmony, mutuality, partnership, reciprocity and all things equal are symbolised by the Libran scales. Libra is the sign of marriage and long term partnerships. And yes, also the sign of our rivals, enemies and opponents. Something which a lot of astrologers like to gloss over. But which can’t be ignored under a Libran full Moon.

This can show us where the scales have become tilted too far in one direction. And shine on that opposite number. Sometimes this is our one and only. Be they our spouse, Ride or Die or that collaborator. Other times it’s that person we wish we don’t have to see at all. It can be a situationship gone wrong, a someone that gets up in our grill as opposed to getting us. Or all the hurt and complexity that goes along with no longer loving someone we used to. No matter who or what it is, it’s either in perfect balance. Or balance needs to be restored. How we go about this depends on the nature of the union. And now far those scales are tilted out-of-kilter.

Libra is a Venus ruled sign. And the appearance of this full Moon happens to coincide with the end of the Venus retrograde. If love has been on the rocks, the tidal upsurge of this full Moon could simply float it free. What this full Moon aims to do is show you the beauty to be rediscovered. If there are problems which still need resolving, it asks you start there – and not focus on the negative.

ARIES

Illumination is the key word under what is for you, one of the most powerful full Moons of the year.    A full Moon in your 7^th is the mirror someone holds up to you. It shows you how they see you. As opposed to how you see yourself. This insight is what acts as the illuminating catalyst. So, detach your ego from this no matter what you may be shown. It’s the vision that’s the gift.

Take this on board. Feel it. Integrate it. Because this is about the total whole. Them and you. Not the ‘me’ bit. No matter how personal and exposed you may be feeling. Because this full Moon appears on the same day as Libra’s ruling planet Venus heads direct in your house of secrets, that reflection  may come as a surprise. Especially with Chiron in the mix.

Your receptiveness is at a peak. It’s a ‘Now I see’ moment for you. Because that reflection isn’t just about you but about the you + me. How they see you tells you everything about them. This full Moon is in the ‘other’ Venus ruled sign of Libra. And it appears the same day as your ruler ends its retrograde in your 11^th house. Have you been in self-protection mode, Taurus? The Sufis tell us that lovers don’t find one another. They are in each other all along. When we fall in love, all the beauty hidden within us comes to the surface. We feel joyful, seen, accepted, loved-up and at our most sparkling and self-expressive. We stop censoring ourselves. And feel life is flowing in our direction.

So, if something goes wrong and romance gets derailed, it’s not just the person we fear we will lose. But this amazing, vibrant and beautiful new version of us. With the withdrawal of a lover, we panic all these good feels with go away too. Which is why the Sufi wisdom is so important to understand. And throws Chiron into the spotlight as it does. Understand this may not be about actual money – although it can be. It can throw into harsh perspective issues around someone’s ability to share themselves with you. Ruler Mercury and now Venus are direct again in your 7^th of partnerships. If you are open to the truth as opposed to what you want to hear – then expect the unredacted version of it. But also that it may come via a source that surprises you. Open-mindedness is everything.

It may be that something has been niggling for a while. Do pay attention especially if this has been on your mind since either late last year or from the start of this one. This asks you don’t ignore it. Or allow yourself or others to tell you that it’s nothing. The full Moon opposes Chiron in your 6^th. But also forms a yod between Uranus in your 7^th and a wide Venus (direct again on this day)/ Saturn conjunction in your 5^th. If you have been ignoring something this tells you that denial offers no refuge.

You are the sign hard-wired to go deeper. And into territory where other signs fear to tread. So, you’re prepared to show your fearless and go there if needed in search of what you need to know. Take up that soul challenge and get to the truth. This may simply be around something you yourself have been doing. That habit you have settled into which in fact, does you no good. CAPRICORN

The Moon rules partnerships for you because it rules Cancer and your 7^th house. So, always pay close attention to what it is doing. The Moon enriches you on more than one level, Capricorn. In Libra and your 10^th, this is a Cardinal full Moon so it will square any Capricorn factors you have in orb of 23 degrees. And touch on issues very close to your heart. It opposes Chiron in Aries and your 4^th. And also, it forms a quincunx with ruler Saturn at 25 Pisces and Venus (direct on this day at 24^o) in your 3^rd. And another quincunx with Uranus in your 5^th at 25 Taurus (Saturn and Uranus are sextile). This forms an aspect known as a Yod – or in ancient astrology ‘The Finger of God’.

This is highly complex astrology but take it you’re ready and primed for it, Capricorn! Loosely translated this points towards something which may initially overturn something established. But is designed to lead you towards more lasting satisfaction in the long term. You may find yourself in a situation where you have to keep your cool because everyone else is losing theirs for instance. Or simply stand and deliver on your word.

We can’t talk about this full Moon in your 9^th without mentioning how your two rulers are caught up by it. As well as Chiron in your 3^rd. Many Aquarians have Pisces factors in their charts. So, if you are checking your chart for factors at 23 degrees of your sign (which if you have them this full Moon will trine), look at whether you have anything between 23-25 Pisces. Old ruler Saturn is at 25 Pisces and Venus is at 24. We can say they are travelling together and conjunct. Venus heads direct hours after this full Moon appears – in its ruling sign of Libra.

Then there’s your contemporary ruler Uranus. At 25 Taurus and sextile Saturn. Both Saturn and Uranus form what is called a Yod with the full Moon. Or, are you holding back from being in a relationship due to past issues which have resulted in you fearing you’ll lose yourself? One way of holding back and not being in a relationship is to attract partners who are unavailable. We then go through the motions but keep ourselves safe. Another way is not to serve our authentic self. You’ll understand if this has been your pattern and release if so.

Uranus and Saturn in the mix may bring something to a climax in an unexpected way. I could not put it that way to the Scorpios out there as their minds would automatically go in one direction! Although, lucky you may too with Pluto now in your sign. Cosmic jokes aside, the ultimate task of this line up is to bring about balance through freedom. This sounds counter-intuitive. But it isn’t. Anything that restricts you – such as a desire to keep yourself safe, or anything that has no future, will be thrust into the spotlight. It may curtail in a sudden way. Or an expected and unlooked for third option frees you from that either/or no person’s land. Soul freedom is your result.

PISCES

It’s an all change full Moon for you as it hits Venus and Saturn in close alignment in your sign. Perhaps you’ve been mulling something over during the retrograde of both Mercury and Venus in your 1^st? But have not quite gathered your courage to set it in motion. Plus you intuitively understand the retro rules and don’t want to end up in a loop of either regrets or reversals.
