Weekly General Astrology Forecast September 1-7 2025

No fate but the one we make.

Saturn returns to Pisces for one final visit this week. When it exits in February ‘26, it will not return for another 28 years. Meanwhile in Gemini, Uranus heads back towards Taurus from the 6^th. Again, this will be its final incursion and due to the length of Uranus’ orbit, when it re-enters Gemini in April, it will not return to Taurus in our lifetimes.

The effect of all the outer planets entering different signs, will be endings and new beginnings across more than one area of our lives for each and every one of us. This will be more profound and apparent if the planets are active in our Sun sign or our 1^st house. Or if it is our ruling planet. There are no real endings however. Energy always simply transforms. Another good metaphor is to simply imagine ourselves with multiple doors leading to new experiences to choose from. And having more than one open to us. This can be especially helpful if you are change-adverse. You can even imagine each door has a sign on it showing you what is behind it. Choose words like ‘Renewal’, ‘Security’, ‘Opportunity’, ‘Treasure’ and even ‘Love’. Keep in mind that if things do not change, they cannot improve.

This is also a time of faith. Not strictly in the religious sense – although Pisces rules our beliefs. But keeping the faith in a higher power or plan for you. That destiny knows what this is. And guides you towards it. You have a purpose or a path to fulfil simply by being here. Fate, kismet, karma – call it what you will, but the universal plan or law that when we follow the rules with purity of heart and intention, simply sees us ending up right where we are meant to be.

Saturn rules all this. And the Nodes set our course. And determine the eclipse axis. And yes, this week we are back in eclipse season. We have a total lunar eclipse in the sea of mystery that is the sign of Pisces. The ever moving body of cosmic waters upon which our souls set sail. This eclipse will oppose Mercury – Virgo’s ruling planet. It asks we don’t just rely on our feelings or intuition. But we perfect these by also seeking out the truth or facts as well. When both function together, then we cannot be held back, deceived or misled. And this applies double to our true path and purpose. We are then free to live the destiny that was always mapped out for us. And also we operate in a karmic free zone when we do.

Keep in mind eclipses always cover up or conceal. And sometimes the truth is something we keep from ourselves. Saturn is also all about the ownership. Perhaps we have painted ourselves a picture that we are powerless to change our fate? Or we are victims of it? We will get to see where we have not only taken on board the false narratives of others, but also where we have woven a few self-generated ones. Often around not being special enough, good enough, ready enough. There’s no fate but the one we make. And if you don’t like yours, in the weeks ahead you will come to understand that you are in a position to create a brand new one. One that allows you to live out the exact reason you are here in the first place! Don’t doubt yourself. Or the fact that it exists.

In a nutshell: This eclipse season, don’t doubt you have a special reason or purpose for simply being here. Karma is what opens up our path. And changes our fate for the better. Realign to yours this week.
