Weekly General Astrology Forecast December 22-28 2025
You are more than you believe
Love goes old school
‘Tis the season to celebrate your successes!
A first quarter moon in Aries this week along with Venus in Capricorn (24th) puts us all in a seriously light-hearted mood this holiday season and the final week of ‘25. Take a moment first to celebrate your wins this year. No, you did not have to gain half a million followers or become a tech-start up to be a ‘success’. Success is achieving whatever it is you set out to do. From completing a study project, to getting your child into your chosen school, to mastering a new skill or forming a new relationship. These are success stories.
Last week’s Venus/Saturn square is still in orb right up until Venus exits Sagittarius. Venus also squares Neptune in Pisces on the 24th. Which is all about our higher path, attainment and what we believe. Especially about ourselves.
When we don’t take the time to acknowledge all we have reached for and succeeded at, we diminish not only our achievements, but ourselves. There are only three sure fire ways to fail at anything. The first is the obvious one – we don’t even try. The second? We complete it and successfully – but then don’t stop to give ourselves the recognition for it. So, we are then left with the strange feeling of not having actually done much at all. Which then results in a constant pursuit of another goal which in turn, when attained, still doesn’t quite assuage our feelings of failure on some level. Our achievements are never enough. And neither are we the success stories we imagined.
The third? Comparison. The thief of not just joy, but self-assurance and motivation. Venus in Capricorn has us loving what we have accomplished. And in doing this, stops us comparing our journey to others.
Venus in Capricorn is about old school, long haul love. It adores the timeless and what’s made to last. It doesn’t do trends, fads, fast fashion or brash. Venus in Capricorn is classic Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Or Melanie Griffith in Working Girl. It gets serious. It shows up. If you have your natal Venus in Capricorn, you will be having your Venus return. When Venus endows you with old school glamour and even rewards for that long term worship and devotion to who or what you love.
The season of giving means giving ourselves the recognition we deserve. We are more than we give ourselves credit for. So, make listing all those achievements, goals and tasks you crushed this past year, great and small, part of your Christmas tradition from this year onwards. Light a candle to yourself. Raise a glass even. Well done. By recognising this, you’re setting yourself up for more beautiful wins in the coming year.
In a nutshell: Embrace the holiday spirit by taking time to recognise all you’ve accomplished this past year. No win is insignificant. So, don’t leave that self-celebration off your gift list! Venus in Capricorn shines on all achievements – great and small.
