YEARLY GENERAL ASTROLOGY FORECAST 2025

You may say I’m a dreamer – but I’m not the only one. 2025 is the year when as a collective, we can dream a dream of a better, braver new world. Without having to silence our own individual wisdom. Reality could just turn out better than the dream. Check out the individual forecast for your sign for more.

It’s a year when we need to have the confidence to follow our own inner voice. To stop giving away our power to those who Above all, 2025 is the year when we need to step up and be authentic, confident, inspired and inspiring in turn.

Globally, Reality Bites themes will take centre stage in ‘25. We can say we are all stars of our own reality show. Let’s get up close and personal with what the big shifts concerning Aries and Pisces mean for us. The North Node moves from Aries and into Pisces on January 12. And with it the eclipse axis moves. From Aries/Libra to Pisces/Virgo.

The last time the North Node was in Pisces (and the South in Virgo), important doorways to change closed and opened. Especially around our beliefs. What we believe and what’s real can be two different things. If you were 18 or over during the last North Node in Pisces cycles, what happened during these dates hands clues as to what revelations are in store this time around. June 2006 – Dec 2007, Dec 1987 – May ‘89, April ‘69 – Nov 1970 and July 1950 – March ‘52.

Expect big pharma, drugs (prescription and recreational), healthcare and in some countries -euthanasia, to continue to be major themes. Neptune knows no boundaries. But Saturn brings rule and regulations. And changes to the law. As Saturn and Neptune move into Aries (Neptune March 30 and Saturn May 29), we will begin to see what’s true and what isn’t. So, we will see the end to conspiracy theories and the emergence of the truth.

Since Neptune entered its ruling sign of Pisces back in 2011, what we have seen is the emergence of two main cultural influences. The ‘Influencer’ and reality TV. Since Saturn moved into Pisces and Neptune has moved to late-stage Pisces, what has started to happen is that more and more ‘unreal’ facts have begun to be exposed around both. As both planets move into image aware and pro-active Aries, we can expect more revelations and exposes around who and what we allow to influence us. Or what is in fact, the reality behind reality TV, to come to light. Stay tuned and grab your popcorn. It’s going to be binge-worthy.

Get Ready to Unfollow

But for all us stars on earth personally, the Nodal shift along with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, we’ll be examining our own realities. And also who we allow to influence us. Are we being led to doubt our own wisdom? Do keep in the back of your mind as 2025 unfolds, that while someone may be knowledgeable and have wisdom that works for them (and potentially others), it may not work for us. Especially if we feel it runs against our organic soul flow. The North Node is all about higher spiritual attunement. While the planets in Aries ask we have the confidence to stand by what we know is real for us. We become creators – not followers.

We start the year with major retrograde energy. Mars, planet of go-to assertiveness and bold action is retrograde in Cancer. We may all be prone to knee-jerk reactions. And these can be triggered by our own feelings of vulnerability. We forget we can still be strong and vulnerable at the same time! Venus will retrograde in fiery Aries (Mars’ ruling sign), from March 2. While Mars is still in post-shadow. The start of the year may feel slow. But it’s also an opportunity to focus on what really matters to us, what strengths and supports us, and where we do feel vulnerable – and again, if we really are. Or are in fact, stronger than we think.

Venus rules love, marriage, creativity, money, harmony, beauty and the arts. When Venus retrogrades, it’s as if these things along with Venus, disappear. Or are hard to find. For this reason, astrologers tell us that we should put these areas of life on hold until Venus reappears as the Morning Star in April at the end of its retrograde. This especially applies to the Venus ruled signs – Taurus and Libra and those with a Taurus or Libra ascendant.

Get Nesting!

Jupiter remains in Gemini until midyear when it then moves on into Cancer. So, the air and water signs will benefit from Jupiter the most in 2025. But no matter what sign or house of your chart Jupiter occupies, it always brings in opportunity. Cancer rules family, roots, protection, shelter, home comforts, nurturing, belonging and also patriotism. The chart for Independence Day for the United States of America – ‘Born on the 4^th of July’ makes it a very patriotic Cancerian country. It like many countries, does have other charts which I won’t go into here.

Jupiter in Cancer will see a growth in patriotism and also an emphasis on the home made and home grown. Both in terms of growing and cooking our own food but also what we produce locally. As opposed to importing food from other regions. This will also extend to goods that are specific to our homeland. There will be a renewed appreciation for what we make and create domestically. And yes, tariffs around these as Jupiter rules exports and imports.

Jupiter in Cancer along with Pluto in Aquarius and from July Uranus in Gemini, will shift the emphasis from homes as investments to homes made to be lived in. Cancer is all about security and nesting. So, many more people may be able to get a foot on the property ladder. Either with homes becoming more affordable or via social housing.

Pluto is now in Aquarius until 2043. Expect the shake-ups and shake-downs at the very top, and with our political systems to continue. Power passes from the few to the people. Pluto’s last visit to Aquarius coincided with the French Revolution and the American War of Independence. It also brought in a slow but gradual shift in the balance of power for the UK. This marked the start of the practice of transporting convicts to Australia. We can therefore expect the republic debate to resurface for Australia during this Pluto cycle.

Pluto and Uranus (ruler of Aquarius), work together to bring about massive changes to what we think, our ideas, our society and our technology. In fact that’s the big theme for ‘25. What we think and what we believe. About ourselves and our place in the world. Uranus is the invention, the radical idea that catches fire, the innovation and the mind-warp! Pluto is power, control and also our fears. Aquarius is a fixed sign. Gemini a mutable one. We can expect continued clashes of ideologies to occur. Especially if reality turns out to be challenging to accept.

Because Aquarius rules both the collective and our authenticity, and Gemini rules communication, the mind and our ideas, 2025 will bring challenges around AI when it is being used to replace real, authentic and original human based ideas. We will need to look at the clear benefits it can clearly deliver, and how to protect our human creative voices at the same time.

Technological innovations will be fast paced and will revolutionise everything from how we interact, influence events around us, and get around. The emphasis will be on free speech and freedom.

As Uranus exits Taurus and then returns to it in November, we should hold onto our core values and not be lured into any financial risk-taking as this may bring upheavals to the financial markets. Especially in its final weeks which coincides with the Mars/Pluto opposition (April 27).

Saturn (Sept 1) and Neptune (Oct 22) return to Pisces for one final visit before both exit and meet in Aries in 2026. This will bring us one more major reality check. And also allow us to see how well we are doing with listening to our inner wisdom and experience when it comes to our own realities.

Lastly, let’s talk about eclipses. The eclipse path began to change late in ‘24. We have one more eclipse on the old pattern which is a partial solar eclipse in Aries on March 29. The rest of this year’s eclipses take place on the new axis of Virgo and Pisces. We’ll be back to themes around what’s real. But above all – what ‘rings true’ for us. But with devoted and focussed Virgo in the mix – this also has to be backed up with either facts or actual deliverables. As with all eclipses whether solar or lunar – there’s always that hidden element. But the reality for 2025 is that we can all get to live our truth. And be guided by the very best influence of all – the one within us. Live it for real.
