Your Weekly General Astrology Forecast February 10th 2025

What are you stuck on or with? Those thoughts and ideas? Your way or the highway? That’s just the way it is/always done? We have intense fixed sign energy in the sky with planets in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus and now a full Moon in Leo.

The cosmos needs open minds now! Those willing to at least consider alternatives or other ways of thinking and doing things. Sure, it may not be our way. Or even work for us. But we’re all being called on to appreciate different viewpoints. And the right of others to hold them.

We have squares and oppositions happening which may test this. Mercury and the Sun in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus across the 10-11^th. This can also offer up a test of our values. Perhaps showing us that what we believed to be valuable was worth a lot less than we invested it with. Usually nothing more than our own beliefs. We may be asked to look at where we are with the ‘Sunk cost fallacy’. In other words, do we continue to throw good love, time or money after bad? Or do we cash in and exit with our self-worth intact and richer in knowledge and experience?

If someone holds a different belief or viewpoint to ours and expresses this, do we listen with an open mind and in fact, find it interesting or even a revelation? Or do we see it as a direct attack on us personally? Our ideas do not define us. They are just ideas. Understand we can love or be friends with those who have different religious, social or political beliefs. It’s the values we have in common which count.

Keep all this in mind as we build up to the joyful, inclusive and radiant full Moon in Leo. It asks we stop taking things too seriously. That there’s so much more to life than getting bogged down in something which may not matter one year down the track. That there’s room under the Sun (and this Moon) for everyone of every persuasion. Let’s all dance and celebrate our differences.

This is a full Moon under which to celebrate and showcase your unique talents and skills. To be tolerant and uncensored. And to extend the same to others in turn. To invite them to join you instead. It’s a full Moon for lovers and lovers of life. It asks for honest exchanges of concepts, thoughts and opinions as it opposes Mercury in Aquarius. And yes, it’s great for the ‘L’ word too. Maybe saying that to someone special. But also ‘I love the way you see things’. Vive la difference. With a square to Uranus look out for the unexpected too, be prepared to leap. Even upheaval that feels wrong, could lead to great treasure.

Mercury moves from Aquarius and on into Pisces on Valentine’s Day. Keep the message of love going. It takes on a deeper, more spiritual dimension now. If we’ve got too hung up or have been hanging on to an old idea for dear life, over the next few weeks, we may come to question this. If we are not already doing so. Maybe that big deal isn’t such a biggie after all. The upcoming months offer not just a mind opening, but potentially third-eye opening to just how those ideas define us and our reality. We become what we believe. What would we become if we believed something different? We then ask how we can change everything with just an alternative thought. How’s that for a shift in thinking?

In a nutshell: Let go of rigid thinking and be open to how others see the world. We don’t all have to hold the same beliefs or worldviews. But this week’s full Moon asks we celebrate our differences.
