Quicksilver Mercury makes for a fast moving week as it enters its ruling sign of Gemini (26th). And yes, we have a massive call to action in the sky with a new Supermoon also in Gemini this week (27th).
Birthday sign of Gemini will be feeling at their most expressive, outgoing and social with both their ruler, the Sun and a new moon in their sign. No matter when your birthday falls, this is the astrological start of your new cycle. This new Supermoon falls conjunct Mercury and also trines Pluto in Aquarius. No matter our sign, all that we say, send out or share has the capacity to have a powerful impact. Perhaps on more people than we can imagine. This new Moon especially favours the Air Signs – Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. As well as the Sagittarians out there as it marks new beginnings or a fresh cycle of relatedness in partnerships.
I think of new supermoons as ‘secret’ supermoons, as unlike full supermoons, we cannot see them. However, they are loaded with potential. Especially ideas and news in the sign of communication. Other factors in the sky this week also mean that we receive news or hear from that person we never expected to. Or finally get the opportunity to share what’s on our mind. Your voice matters.
Mercury’s angles to both newly arrived Saturn and Neptune in Aries mean we will back up what we say with action. Whether this is doing something with our ideas. Or else following through on those intentions. We forge our thoughts in the fire of inspiration, and while they are still hot, take them and run with them! Mastery of our ideas is just one of the gifts that Saturn in Aries hands us. But thanks to the Saturn/Neptune mix this is balanced with emotional maturity, understanding and self-awareness. We will also be aware of the need to craft our message with kindness when it comes to one-to-one conversations.
Holding a grudge, not letting go of the past and serving up a rap sheet of past misdemeanours every time there is a discussion – so no under this combo.
