Well, Toto. Jupiter’s not in Kansas any more. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to where home, heart and hearth lie for you as it leaves Gemini and arrives in Cancer on the 9th.
If you are feeling the need to move, renovate, redecorate or relocate, you’ll set the wheels in motion to make this happen. Sometimes it’s a metaphorical change of rooms we’re actually seeking. That head space for instance. Safety and security, that sense of belonging, are more than just bricks and mortar. Home can be a person or a group of people. It can be a place. Especially for the Cardinal Signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. If you have been pressured to conform in a way that has stunted your growth or ability to express your authenticity, then it’s likely you’ll push back against this now. The 9th and the 15th being dates when we stand up for our unique selves. And are also prepared to put distance between ourselves and others who don’t accept us if necessary. This week also hands us a full Moon in Jupiter’s ruling sign of Sagittarius (11th). Between now and the new Moon in Cancer later this month, decide on your direction. This full Moon illuminates this. And also hands us all the courage and confidence to go down it thanks to its trine to Mars in Leo. This is also the moment when restrictions we have been dealing with since last December begin to lift.
Because Sagittarius’ ruling planet is in Cancer, and Cancer’s ruler the Moon is in Sagittarius, this full Moon also has us looking at our attachments. And at themes of soul freedom and movement. Have we built a launch pad to take us to the stars? Or are we earthbound and restricted by an over-attachment to maintaining the status quo?
Place and even possessions can enhance our feelings of security. But we can accumulate to the point where what we own, owns us. An extreme example of this would be a hoarder who is now a prisoner of their own possessions. But becoming a creature of habit, sticking with something – a job, a relationship, a living situation, simply because we may fear changing it, is another one. Or worse, we hang on because we believe we don’t deserve anything better. Home truths around this will be highlighted by this full Moon.
