Don’t put off what needs to be said and done this week. If you do – well, you will only end up having to deal with it later under the upcoming Mercury retrograde. Mercury’s retro-shade begins in Scorpio on the 21^st. And the day before the slow-down it meets Mars – Scorpio’s co-ruler in here. This is a now moment when it comes to tackling those tasks, having that conversation, or bringing something to the point where it is ready to be sent out.

Sometimes talk isn’t enough. It needs to be backed up by the appropriate course of action. So, another tactic is not to say something unless you are prepared to to just that. And bring the follow-through. This applies to the things we say we are going to do. And any ultimatums we issue. Especially when there are planets in the sign of power! Especially if we want to be taken seriously. Serious words needs to be backed by equally serious moves.

This week also brings a fresh start for all signs in relationships and partnerships of all descriptions with the new Moon in Libra (21^st). It reminds us of how our primary relationships – those with our family, and our roots, influence others or what we need to feel secure in our adult lives. The new Moon squares Jupiter in Cancer. And whether we are single, looking for any new kind of partnership or settled, we may look at how we try to either create what is familiar – or alternatively, seek out what we feel was missing in our early lives, as adults.

It’s a new moon under which to address this. And also no matter our relationship status, to embrace the truth that we can provide ourselves with whatever it is we need to feel safe, nurtured and loved. We don’t need a partner for that. Of course, having someone who does feels like winning the love lottery (and it is!). But we are more likely to win that if we already know we are there for ourselves. And yes, following through on what we say we are going to do, adds to that feeling.

We may dive deeper into these truths as Neptune re-enters its spiritual and watery realm of Pisces for one final visit on the 22^nd. This is Neptune’s final visit this lifetime. Once it re-enters Aries next year it will never return. This allows all of us to release old wounds, and dissolve past patterns that keep us trapped in painful cycles which repeat. It will also strengthen our spiritual beliefs. And these include our belief in ourselves. We regain our trust in ourselves, in life and in something greater guiding us.

Happy birthday to all Scorpios! The Sun moves into your sign joining Mercury and ruler Mars on the 23^rd. And we have a Grand Water Trine changing the direction of the tidal flow for you across the 24^th – 25^th between Mercury, Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces. Don’t resist a change coming through in your outlook right at the very start of your new cycle due to the Sun squaring ruler Pluto in Aquarius.

Despite the Sun now in fixed Scorpio, we are still in Cardinal sign weather. This week has Jupiter in Cancer square the object of outrageous fortune Chiron in Aries. Never Would I Ever is a good way to think about Chiron. Not just that wounded healer trope. Chiron is the astral object which defies description. It’s in a category all its own. Therefore – what it delivers can be confounding, jaw-dropping and unbelievable.

Never Would I Ever applies not just to us. But what we would never believe could occur. You hear from someone you never imagined you would see or speak to again for instance. You think something is beyond the realm of possibility – then just like that – it happens. Something occurs which shocks you awake by its sheer existence. This could happen right under our noses. Or we take that action we never said we would. Chiron tells you never say never. And Jupiter says if you do, then go all in.

Big changes could result around home, family units or what we think of as security. This is one of those moments when you know you can’t go back to the way things were. And that may be a good thing if you have been searching for a place where you feel you fit in and belong. We’re all familiar with coming of age stories. Where the protagonist crosses the chasm between childhood and adulthood. And of course, can never go back. But we have many of these in our lifetimes. This square can offer up one such crossing from one stage to the next. Even if you’ve never done one like this before – go with it.
