The Week Ahead For Leo
This week’s eclipse impacts your money, assets and change sectors. Keep a tight grip on those purse strings. But also an open mind. If nothing changes, there’s zero improvement, Leo. Delay setting anything in motion. Let change find you.
LEO
Expect illumination
Transformation brings opportunity
Awaken to change
Keep an open mind when it comes to change this week. But don’t be in a rush to set it in motion. It’s one thing if change simply happens. But another thing to rush and initiate it. Especially under both a Mercury retrograde and an eclipse.
Like next door sign of Cancer, any eclipse has a profound impact on you. No matter if it is a solar eclipse like last month’s. Or a lunar eclipse which occurs this week in Virgo and your 2nd house. This is because your ruler the Sun, is always involved. This is a total lunar eclipse so a complete cover up as the earth’s shadow covers the entire lunar surface. Caused by the earth being exactly between the moon and your ruler.
The eclipse sextiles Jupiter in your 12th. Expect this is bring up something you were unaware of. Or else did not see coming. This does not mean this is not to your benefit as this eclipse crosses your money and assets axis. Change is change only.
Mars lands in your 8th just one day before the eclipse. So, take care you don’t rush into a decision or jump to a false conclusion, Leo. Expect illumination or a moment of pure awakening across the 5th – 7th with your ruler’s trine to Jupiter (5th) and then then Sun/retro Mercury cazimi of the 7th.
Transformation hands you opportunity – and freedom as Venus activates the highly changed zero degree of Aries and your 9th (6th). If last month’s Saturn/Neptune encounter at zero Aries left you thinking ‘Is that it?!’, you will witness changes as the personal planets move from your 8th to your 9th and trigger the energy left by the conjunction of the ages. You’ve a clear vision as to where you want to go or what you want to have, do or experience. Anything which blocks your path is likely to be removed under this week’s eclipse. Often we don’t actually ‘solve’ any issues. We simply transcend them by changing our thoughts or our energy. That’s what all that stored energy offers, Leo. Beautiful transformation.
In a nutshell: This week’s eclipse impacts your money, assets and change sectors. Keep a tight grip on those purse strings. But also an open mind. If nothing changes, there’s zero improvement, Leo. Delay setting anything in motion. Let change find you.

LEO
Transformation brings freedom
Opportunity doesn’t knock – you invite it in
Fate, fortune, fantasy and faith set your direction
Ahead of you this month, a new kind of freedom, Leo. Visionary, free-flowing but grounded. You hold the map and the compass to your heart’s sacred direction. You’re not only unafraid to follow, but the course you chart is grounded and certain. It’s an unstoppable combination of fate and fantasy, fortune and faith.
Changes continue to impact you first however. And these are intended to release you unfettered into the opportunities which await you. Your 8th house rules the transformations which are necessary in order for you to grow and expand. Mars’ arrival (2nd), bumps the astral factors in here up to five – Sun, retro Mercury, Venus, Mars plus the North Node. Ahead of the powerful lunar eclipse in your 2nd house the following day (3rd).
Just like your neighbouring sign of Cancer, any eclipse marks a change or pivot point for you. No matter if it is a solar or lunar eclipse, the Sun your ruler is always involved. This is a total lunar eclipse, a complete blind spot or cover up around money, shared assets, income, self-worth, your values or even secret and deep seated fears and insecurities around intimacy and trust.
The good news is that unlike a solar eclipse which cuts you off from your heart-source, a lunar eclipse doesn’t do that. You are still connected to your heart-centered truth and guidance. Do listen, Leo. The blind spot can be around the emotional charge you give to issues around money or finance. Or even disempowerment. This eclipse offers solutions or the courage to confront change due to its impact on Jupiter in your 12th. Offering you a way out or ability to confront change without fear. Instead, you welcome it like a friend sent to help you clean house!
The changes that are in motion are destiny driven. But they may take a time to settle due to the Mercury retrograde in this house. Nothing may be finalised until next month. Negotiations or discussions could go back and forth. Because of the retrograde influence, if you are involved in legal undertakings or anything to do with contracts, money or even wills and legacies, do seek professional advice.
Something may end or simply come ‘full circle’ with a rebirth to follow. Again, this is very much fate or cosmic timing. But you are not powerless in this Leo. You are being asked to step up and direct your fate in the direction you would like it to go. Even if we feel something is preordained – we always have the choice when it comes to how we respond to it. Key dates for you involving decisions or simply flexing those empowerment muscles are when Mercury has its two encounters with the North Node – 18th and 23rd. Along with Mars on the 13th. The latter is the one which very much puts you in control!
Rebirth, fresh starts and new beginnings appear alongside the secretive new Moon of the 19th. By this point you will have confronted any ghosts of insecurities past unleashed by the eclipse. You’re ready to shed, release and let go. Stepping forward into what is now the Great Beyond waiting to be explored.
Venus is the first planet to make that brightening move into Aries and your 9th (6th). Ahead of the Sun (20th). It joins Saturn, Neptune and Chiron. What shifted in your world with last month’s rock of the ages encounter between Saturn and Neptune? Did you discover a new path ahead and take those first exploratory steps down it? Did an opportunity or solution appear? Did you make a plan to do something, learn something, travel somewhere new? Did you fully embrace the concept that you make your own luck? In order to do that, you have to consciously commit to leaving your comfort zone. Or are you still waiting in that cosmic departure lounge for your metaphorical flight to be called?
When major cosmic alignments occur, some of us see the effects immediately. Others may end up feeling it was just a load of astro-hype when nothing changes. If you are in the latter group, Leo – then buckle up, buttercup, as the planets moving into your 9th will trigger the zero degree energy spot created by the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. Venus on the 6th, the Sun on the 20th.
Both Venus and your ruler will engage with Neptune and Saturn within days of their arrival. The 20th also sees Mercury power ahead again in your 8th which will see the cycle of change complete in the next two weeks. What was static, stagnant or stuck now moves ahead once more.
Luck doesn’t just happen. Neither does opportunity. These are forces you set in motion or engage with. By taking a chance and putting yourself out there in some way. Courageous, unafraid, optimistic and engaging, you’ll dare to try, make the first move or simply adopt a playfully bold approach. Time to apply, pitch yourself, sign up for that activity, showcase yourself or your talents and above all, go all-in when it comes to the pursuit of that big love or dream, Leo. Start a conversation with a stranger. Don’t wait for that dream job to appear. Instead introduce yourself to the company you want to work for and tell them why you’re the perfect candidate. Above all, let go of worries about what others think or making a fool of yourself. The only foolish move is simply not to try.
All this occurs ahead of Jupiter’s arrival in your sign in June. This will be your 12 month Summer of Love. When you become the zodiac’s chosen one. But this month says: why wait? Venus does away with any remaining self-doubts as it offers up the ultimate career and image boost when it exits your 9th for Taurus and your 10th (30th). Something or someone is about to appear in answer to what you have set in motion. It contains the potential for lasting success or satisfaction, Leo. One thing is certain, you’ll know it would never have appeared if you hadn’t leaned in to your bold side and simply taken a chance on change.
In a nutshell: Changes this month are designed to clear your path of any remaining blockages to freedom. Allow them to happen organically. The only thing you need to stick to are those values, Leo. Following your heart means holding on to that vision – and stepping forward in an act of faith. That how you engage with the joint power of both luck and opportunity.

Leo Yearly Astrology Forecast 2026
Harness your people powerful
Why be an imitation when you are unique?
Welcome to your year of Endless Summer!
Major relationship shifts and transformations occur at the very beginning of 2026, Leo. Setting you up for what many are calling the Summer of Love when Jupiter arrives in your sign at the end of June. But for you, this will actually be a year long personal Coachella love-fest. Or even quest as planetary shifts will also impact on your houses of travel, journeys and going further, and of dreams and goals.
From the third week of January right up until your ruler the Sun leaves Aquarius and your 7th on Feb 18th, your annual partnership peak is powered by the intensity of Pluto, now in permanent residence in Aquarius up until 2043. This year also brings a shift in the Nodal Axis. The North Node will move from Pisces and your 8th into Aquarius and your 7th. While the South Node moves from Virgo and your 2nd into your own sign. This occurs right in your birthday season on July 27. Before the Nodes make their move, we always see eclipses appear on the new axis. And always solar eclipses.
Eclipses are important reset points for you. Just like your next door sign of Cancer, your sensitivity to them is heightened because no matter if they are solar or lunar eclipses – your ruler is always involved. But solar eclipses are the most impactful. The moon temporarily blocks the life-giving light of your ruler. You feel disconnected from your source. Which is why Leo’s need to take extra care during eclipses. You are literally thrown into the dark.
Do keep this in mind especially when it comes to any kind of duo, duet, double act or duel as the year begins. Past, present or potential. And single Leos are advised not to go seeking that special someone in the days leading up to and immediately after the Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on Feb 17. If someone does appear to magically cross your path even though you were not looking, do take it very slowly. And as a general rule, avoid making big decisions around relationships during an eclipse period. There is always something you do not yet know under an eclipse.
Eclipse warnings aside, as the planets move into Aquarius and your 7th and conjunct Pluto, and with Mars also joining Pluto on Jan 27, the heat is on long before Jupiter’s summer of love arrives. Intensity fuels both current and potential unions. And whether you are single or settled, you will also be looking at how you deal with conflict in a union. This is part of becoming a warrior for love. It’s not about battles or disagreements. Just how you handle them. Because once you identify that conflict style, you can adjust, step free or easily talk about it when there is no conflict happening. It also allows you to understand how your partner or others deal with disagreements. So that when they do occur, you can better understand where the other party is coming from. Or what triggers them/you.
But this is a year when you will be making love, not war. It’s a year of expansion, luck, self-expression and self-love. It’s filled with optimism and spontaneity. And the first quarter of ‘26 sets the scene.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries: The Path Ahead Gets Real
Neptune and then Saturn move out of Pisces and your 8th and into Aries and your 9th in January/February. Neptune will not return to Pisces in our lifetimes. Saturn won’t be back for another 28-29 years. You go from a period of restriction, down-sizing, confusion or even forced transition that you did not look for, to freedom, expansion, clarity and certainty.
Aries is the sign of self-directed action. Your 9th is your house of long distance travel, journeys, learning, the law, beliefs and big goals and dreams. Neptune sees you imagine more – or hands you that vision. Saturn shows you what you need to do in order to get there or make it happen. It’s the planet of self-authorship. Which in the sign of self-assertion can bring all the elements you need together.
Neptune returns to Aries on Jan 26. Saturn on February 14. Leos take note – Saturn in your love planet. You actually have two – lucky you. So, this could be about a big love just as easily as it could be about a major journey or destination. For the first time in our lifetimes, Saturn and Neptune will meet in Aries on Feb 20. Just three days after the eclipse in your 7th house. Take it this brings in a new direction for you. And one where you are very much in charge of where it takes you.
Uranus in Gemini – Go Directly to Your Dream
So, let’s talk about goals. Your goals. Not anyone else’s. They are unique to you. Yes, many of us share the same themes around what we want to manifest for ourselves. We may want to attract in more money, that dream job, start a business, success in a creative venture, manifest a new and better home, or a mate for instance. But the exact details and specifics of it – they are custom and bespoke to us.
Your dream is not going to be the same as anyone else’s. Just as theirs is probably not the same as yours. You can of course, dream up a joint goal with someone else. And this again will be unique to the two of you. When dreams come together and fuse to become shared, they get imbued with a special kind of magic. Those are different. We are going to stick with yours for now.
Here’s an example for you. Let’s say your dream is to own the quintessential English thatched cottage with roses around the door. You imagine it sitting in a pretty village amidst its charming gardens. Opening your rustic front door and the story book interior. You’ve pretty much nailed it down to the final details. And every week you buy a lottery ticket to open that channel to bring you the money to buy it.
Then – ta da! Winner, winner cottage dinner! You win not just the price of buying that thatched cottage – but millions more. And here’s when it can all go wrong. Well meaning loved ones and friends gather round and ask you why you are going to buy a thatched cottage when you now have enough money to buy a palace instead? You waiver. Perhaps they are right. Maybe you should upgrade that dream. Now there you are, sitting in your mansion but wondering why you’re not happy? You should be. Especially as everyone tells you how lucky you are and how gorgeous your home is. But you feel oddly empty and it doesn’t feel like home. Try as you might, you simply don’t love it.
That is because the big house was never your dream. Your dream was the thatched cottage. In other words – in this scenario, you would have bought someone else’s dream. Just as if your dream was the penthouse apartment, but you got talked into buying a thatched cottage, you might end up unhappy too.
Our goals are part of our identity. Yes, they will evolve and change over time. Because we do too. But if you look back across how what you want has shifted and changed, the desire behind the dreams remains true to you. Which is why we need to hold onto the authentic essence of them in order to make them happen.
Your second love planet is Uranus – crazy cupid and planet of the unpredictable, shocking and electrifying. It returns to Gemini and your 11th of friends, goals and the future on April 26. And it’s all about what we as individuals add to the collective. And in this house, opens up new paths towards our goals. It’s the ultimate people mover and delivery system combined. It brings the people who will power your future. And who can help you make those goals reality. Just as you are going to engage with them and perhaps act as the catalyst for them to manifest theirs. This is dynamic co-creation. And yes, it is powerful magic.
Loaded with ideas, inventiveness and innovation in your social sector, Uranus charges your imagination and opens up new and unexpected pathways to make things happen. The people it places in your path will prove to be pivotal. Be a joiner. Connect. Show up. As yourself. That’s the most important part. Gemini is the sign which cuts to the chase. So, this is why Uranus in here has a ‘Go directly to your dream’ approach. And to stay true to its unique essence which is merely a reflection of you.
If you have been thinking about joining a club, party, movement, group, community or even starting one yourself – do it. Uranus in Gemini puts you in exploratory mode. A social smorgasbord where you can pick and choose, have a taster session and then see where you fit. Exciting, very different and unusual people will cross your path. Especially when your ruler the Sun arrives in here on May 21st. They may appear without prior warning. Or you encounter them due to last minute invitations or sudden changes of plan. Expect your social circle to shift and your life choices to open up via who you meet and connect with under Uranus in here.
Jupiter in Leo – Fly Away to Endless Summer
Smooth as a classic Sinatra song, Jupiter in your 1st invites you to come fly away when it arrives in your sign on June 30. To a land of endless summer. It’s been 12 years since Jupiter last paid you an up close and personal visit. It you were 18 or over, 12 years ago, look back at what opportunities arrived. How your image, appearance or look become your calling card or nexus of attraction and attention. And expect the same kind of themes to repeat this time around.
If you are old enough, take a moment to think back to those opportunities or open doors which appeared for you last Jupiter transit. Remember, Jupiter is a planet which invites. It is always up to us how we RSVP to its invitations. What did you say yes to or explore? Which of the many portals which should have swung open for you did you walk through and which did you walk past? Reflect on this.
If you have any coulda, woulda, shoulda regrets from this period, then the good news I have for you is that doors to anything you feel you missed out on, will open once again at some point over the 12 months Jupiter is with you. All you simply have to do is cross the threshold this time around.
If this is your first Jupiter in your 1st experience as a fully-fledged adult, then do keep the above in mind. Don’t let fear stop you. Especially insecurities around your talents, capabilities or even what others may think. Is it fear of failure or fear of success holding you back? Jupiter always wants to expand your life in a key area. But that won’t happen if you simply stick to what you know or lurk in that comfort zone, Leo. This is an invitation to go experience just what an endless summer life could look like for you.
There are those people who actually do live endless summer lives. Surfers and polo players for instance who move with the change of seasons. Bands tour. Film makers go on location. Those who can afford it chase the sun via holidays when the temperature cools where they live. Or take it sunny and crisp with winter sports. For you, Leo – the Sun feels like it will be shining for you no matter whether you are travelling – or staying put. However, with this Jupiter, travel – and boarding that aircraft to fly away more than once, is a distinct possibility.
Be a first rate version of yourself,
not a second rate version of someone else.
Judy Garland
Jupiter in your sign is all about bigging up your image. Making big, bold, beautiful changes to your face, profile, style, appearance, look, personal message, title and brand. Ones that are designed to make you stand out. Jupiter never does anything by half-measures. It’s not uncommon to undergo anything from a wardrobe revamp to tweakments all the way up to an extreme makeover under a Jupiter in your 1st transit. And in your sign – which is designed to shine and stand out, everyone will sit up and take notice.
Your best time for those adjustments will be your birthday cycle when the Sun joins Jupiter from July 22. Your a magnetic force to be reckoned with at this point. Especially when the Sun and Jupiter oppose Pluto in your 7th. Jupiter will also trine Saturn and Neptune in your 9th delivering opportunities around travel, anything to do with people and places overseas, the mass media, law and ‘lucky’ breaks.
Ultimately, this Jupiter is about the best possible version of you. As the quote above tells us – not a second rate version of someone else. Sure, gather your inspiration. But then from this create something that’s your signature look. Which you work in a way that nobody could. After all, why simply be an influence when you can be an icon?
This is going to be more important than you think. Simply because when we look and feel our best we are at our most outgoing and confident. Our vibration is raised and this in turn acts as a magnet. Drawing the people and opportunities we’re seeking effortlessly into our orbit. So get ready to serve – alluringly, roaringly confident, more lustrous and in a larger than life way. You are an original. So why imitate anyone else? Turns out playing you could be the role of a lifetime, Leo.
Your birthday season puts us back in eclipse weather again. With a total solar eclipse occurring at the time of the new moon in your sign on Aug 12, this could be a powerful portal to rebirth. And you emerging with a powerfully reforged image which announces to the world just what the new you is all about.
Venus rules two areas in your chart. Taurus and your 10th of career, status and public image. And Libra and your 3rd house of communication. Venus will be retrograde during October and November. As well as pressing pause on all Venus-ruled endeavours – love and money specifically, you may want to use this time to review your progress on your journey to date, celebrate how far you have travelled and then course correct as needed.
November also sees Jupiter and Mars conjunct the South Node in your 1st and oppose the North in your 7th. This can bring a partnership or theme around love, full circle. Just be aware that although Jupiter’s Summer of Love offers attraction, relationships that are easy and solutions and opportunities, it won’t magically fix something that is broken beyond repair. For some, this can bring in that lasting love which feels like fate (it is). But if instead this sees you having to let go of a relationship you thought would be part of your life forever, you will be able to release it with grace and understanding.
The end of 2026 will still feel like the sun is shining no matter what hemisphere you reside in as the Sun enters Sagittarius and your 5th on Nov 22. This is Jupiter’s ruling sign and we are in winter fire weather. The new micromoon of Dec 9 will trine Jupiter – which is about to retrograde in your 1st from the 13th. What this whispers about is that this is a slow start towards something you may not yet quite be able to glimpse. You know it is just below the horizon – waiting to appear. But you just can’t see it yet. Take it that Jupiter and Uranus have more in store for you in ‘27. Your summer of love isn’t over, Leo. It’s only halfway through.
In a nutshell: Get ready for a long, hot summer of love. That’s what Jupiter in your sign promises you. While Uranus in Gemini sends you the circle, group of gathering to turn the whole experience into a festival. All year long, Leo.
